Sabaj D5 DAC and headphone amp : is it really good?

Audio Signals over HDMI are still embedded in video signals. To convert them for transfer over I2S, one has to de-embedd them using some external audio extractor.

IMO,
ARC enabled HDMI port can send audio signals to external DAC / processor, please enlighten if i have understood it wrong.

AFAIK dac chips recognises I2S signals only. Any type of digital audio input signals including those from HDMI ARC have to be converted to I2S internally before being fed to DAC. Only a few compleated DAC like Sabaj D5 have I2S input port.

I bought a topping NX4 based on his assessment. And it a good amp for the budget.

Currently I am hunting for a good desktop dac which would be part of my system chain for music. Thought of Denafrips....et al...GUSTARD, SML, RME...etc...then this result.

Seriously leaning towards this dac.

Is it available in India? How to get...are you selling?
