I have a partial HT setup(in bio), yet to add a sub owing to space constraints. Looking to dip my feet in stereo with Allo Volt+D, thanks to @raghupb post on his experiments with the amp.
Now that fabtolab lists Volt+D for 6.5k approx for quite sometime, I've been toying with the idea. Been postponing it owing to certain limitations in current residence.
This is what I have in mind for now:
Source -> my humble android mobile(with 3.5mm to RCA as Step 1)
DAC -> portable DAC like Hidizs s9 pro(Step 2 in my upgrade path)
Amp -> Allo Volt+D (Step 1)
A switch for stereo and HT(need suggestions)
Speakers -> my humble Dali zensor 3 (sadly no sub yet may be a Step 3 but I see it would be long time 🥲)
Limitations:
- rental flat
- speakers are placed lower than optimal position and possibly less optimal as well(TV unit - https://www.urbanladder.com/products/zephyr-52-tv-unit?sku=FNSGAV11MH30054&src=mobile_subcat). Being placed in living room not much space to move it around either. on the left we have main door of the flat. My listening position is approx 6-7 feet.
- don't have Wifeys permission to buy a speaker stand or change the tv unit furniture for now😁

Would be great if some one can provide suggestions.

Thanks,
Jagadeesh
