Rajesh - This has been answered several times on these threads. Its currently a known bug and unless Tatasky fixes it through a firmware upgrade, you can't get DD5.1.

The best option on TataSky, to get all channels including HD channels on 'TataSky HD', is the 'Mega Lite Pack'.
Mega Lite Pack:
All channels and services on Tata Sky except the following - Chutti TV, Gemini TV, Gemini Comedy, Gemini Music, Gemini News, Kiran TV, KTV, Sun TV, Sun Music, Sun News, Surya TV, Udaya TV, Udaya 2, Udaya Movies, Udaya Varthegalu & Topper, with added benefit of free Showcase movies!
NOTE: Although TataSky has listed 'Topper' channel in the list of excluded channels, for some reason I am getting it.

I hope you are on the original firmware of TS HD. Hope you are getting DD5.1 through HDMI on your TS HD box.
Yes audio quality varies with content and not all are in true 5.1.
Its a SLAP on their face when we get too LAZY to SUE them for that FRAUD.

With all broadcast happening in 1080i, would a 720p be worse off than a 1080p because it has to de-interlace? or do a imperceptible job and give a better VFM?
Assuming that DTH is the only source of entertainment.

Hehe Lets not drag KJo in this conspiracy of Dish TV, however a BIG SLAP from us to SRK for participating in such SCAM as a BRAND AMBASSADOR
Having said that, Star should improve further on SD content on their HD channels especially on the stretched aspect ratio front.
These are the Normal Showcase Movies in SD.

Currently there are no 'Showcase HD' movies, if and when there are any, I would presume that this includes them too. Logically they should be included, but then again, logic more often than not fails in India.

In case the HD version of the movie is being broadcast, TS always broadcasts both the HD & SD versions of the same movie on different channels. If you have a HD box you can see both the channels HD & SD (they actually defer the starting of the movie by 30 minutes in both the channels). However if no movie in HD there is no showcase HD channel.
