Solid core 10 AWG speaker cables

After a long time got some time to work on this.

Soldered the tip of the cable to accomodate DH Labs SP 10 spades.





Made use of few 1MM Acrylic sheets available instantly and broke them in 1 inch breadth towards the length.

Got the below strips to hold the cable, so that I can avoid twisting them just for holding them together.



Punched holes on them on the sideways to accomodate solid cable.

Then inserted the cable in to the holes so that both can be held together as a cable and with out touching or needed to be twisted.

Done with both cables....


Done for the day.. will solder the ends with DH Labs SP10 spade terminals next free time.

Long awaited DH LABS single sized non angled spade terminals have arrived from USA.

I consider this will have more contact area than the DHLABS SP10 used on the other side...



Will solder them post evening and update..
