I am thinking on buying JBL SB100
It has subwoofer out, which i am planning to use yamaha sw012
Total Costing 16000/-
Is it a good buy or any better suggestion than above setup

What's your budget? A soundbar (with subwoofer/without subwoofer) is not same as the pure 5.1 system. So it all depends on your budget, your room size, what's your requirement like need bass-heavy guy, music, action movies etc.

My Budget is 15K To 20K and room size being 10' * 10'
I mostly watch action movies and small dose of rock music
Thanks for reply

For a 10'X10' room, even with my limited knowledge, I can safely tell you, just rule out 5.1, either go for a 2.1 or a soundbar. Soundbar is better suited considering that it can be easily be mounted on wall. But these days lots of smaller sized 2.1 systems are also available.

Thanks for the input
So I have a choice between
1 JBL SB100 Soundbar (with Yamaha SW012 Sub) Rs 16000/-
2 Edifier S730 Rs 22000/-
3 Edifier Studio 7 Rs 12000/-
What should be my choice?

The JBL sounded good when I heard it at a friend's place. He too has a small room ( 10*11). Hope this helps.

And now for the review! (Edifier Studio 7 R2700)
First Impression was WOW!! Its a big speaker set Approx 15 inches in height.
Dominated by Large 6.5 inches woofer and accompanied by 4 inch Midrange And 0.75 inch Tweeter. Good Looks I must say :).
Sound is impressive with a heavy dose of bass. Its not like a 2.1 system where you hear all boom boom but its clear bass.
I had a Z5500 long ago and comparing to that this is sweet:eek:hyeah:.
Not loud , not ear blasting but kind of just right.
And for 11K this is the best i could get.
