Soundcard for Laptop

Hi,

I recently purchased a Mackie mixer / Shure Mic combo to record songs on my laptop - My laptop has the newer heaphone / mic combo input and I get a lot of static / hiss / even some latency on this and hence my search for an USB soundcard.

(I need 2 -in 2 out to a USB and the cheapest one I could find was a Behringer on Amazon ($ 30) . Other options were Focus rite , etc with a significantly higher cost .

Would like to know from this community if anyone has experience using the sound card for recording and if yes, are there any recommendations for what I could use.

Update:

I did finally get the same product given in the link earlier (Behringer) through amazon (had a friend carry it to chennai). The recordings are very clear and no noise / latency. I woudl strongly recommend this setup for anyone who is trying to record on their PC.
