Hi Friends,

Due to room renovation, I am now running a pvc pipe inside the cement wall for speaker cable. The work is still in progress. The plaster is pending to put in the wall.

There is electrical cable and electrical socket coming in the middle of the run. The electrical cable is perpendicular and the 3 pin socket box is kind of parallel.
Attached picture.

Any particular shielding do you recommend to protect the speaker cable? I would be using chord carnival silver screen cable for stereo music listening.

Thanks.
Amit.

Avoid parallel running as much as possible. Perpendicular intersection is not a problem. Twist the speaker wires. Dont know if shielding would help but it does no harm if some shielding is in place . Wait for experts to chime in.
