Hello all,

As per guidance provided in a previous post, I visited a couple of stores and tried the following 5.1 speaker-packages for use in my home where I have an Onkyo NR 626 Amp.

I need the speakers for a mix of TV / Movies / Music (Movie songs) in my living room which is fairly large (20x20) with a lot of windows/doors.

My budget is under 1 lakh and as wall-space is not ideal for installing surround sound speakers, I may opt for the 3.1 setup and upgrade to 5.1 later - if so, budget would come down accordingly.

1) Polk - TSX 220 (front) / TSX 150 C (Center) / PSW 110 (Sub-woofer) / OW M3 (Surround) - Total cost ~65K

2) Polk RTi A3 / TSX 150C / PSW 110 / OW M3 - Total cost ~72K

3) KEF Q 300 / Q 200C / Q 400B / Q100 - Total cost ~135K

4) Klipsh RB-41 pckg - Total cost ~Rs 1.2L

5) Jamo C 603 pckg - Total cost ~Rs 1.2L

I am reading through the reviews, but if any of you have feedback, kindly share.

Thanks!

Of the ones that you have listed, which one did you like ?

Def Tech also has a good reputation of their 5.1 packages. Is it me or have they kind of vanished from the forum discussion lately? Do check out Procinema 800/1000. They seem to have quite a good center speaker. This is a satellite system, so check out whether you can wall mount these at the rears.
