Hi Guys,
I have SONY STR DN-1050 receiver and connected with Polk TSX110B bookshelf speakers as front for now. I dont have any other speakers connected.
I set the front speakers as large and turned off the subwoofer out to get some bass effects.
There is a setting in the receiver that starts from -0.0db ti +10.0db. When I increase the level then I am getting some loudness. It is good when I listen to some songs or movies in certain low level volume a 25 (max 72). But when I increase the volume it is started distorting.
When I auto calibrate it the levels set to 0.0db automatically.
My question is that, can I set set these speaker levels manually? Or it will cause my speakers burn?
What is the require level for these polk speakers?
Thanks in advance.
