Speakers within 25K for the specified music

then do at least give the Ushers a listen, detail and dynamics are superb......reasonably flat frequency response, clarity and separatation are phenomenal for the price, even the bass is tight, accurate and musical, it doesn't try to compensate for its lack of LFE by boosting any of the lower frequencies......an honest attempt at budget hi fi....

Well psychotropic almost 90% of my listening is towards the instrumental oriented pieces of music - even if its metal/rock/whichever genre - i like to listen to long instrumental pieces. So any speakers which are good for instrumental music should be good for me i guess unless i can get an allrounder like sonosphere has mentioned.

I just wanted to know, what are the ball park prices for these speakers as in Quad and MA. I guess, Ushers are around 20-24k and Diamonds - 15-18k.

MA BR2 would be around 22K

Quad 11L2 around 27K
