Starnge Problem with WD media player

Hi,

i m using a western digital media player(II), form day one i m having a strange problem with it, when i play MP4 files in it playes fine until i forward the content after that the audio is out of synch, this problem is only with MP4 file every thing else is absolutely fine.

please help me sort out it.

Try a couple of other MP4 files. If you have the same issue, raise the matter in the WD forum. That will help WD release a new firmware or provide a solution. If you using an HDMI connection, try changing the cable. This looks like a sync problem between the player and the amp/TV.

Had faced the same problem.. Updated the firmware..Its working fine now..

Thanks Venkat, i have tried almost 10 Mp4 files but all have the same problem , using a HDMI cable to connect WDTV and Pana C10D.

the latest firm ware for GEN 2 WDTV is 1.01.077, but it already there so the WDTV is not accepting the update software.
