Stereo listening position. - Does equilateral works for you?

In our "not for audiophile" designed houses, it is fairly difficult to get the perfect placement. I can't even get that in my office in a near field setup, due to variables out of my control.

What I prefer is a triangle where the R&L speakers are pointed wide of my shoulders, a few inches away from my ears if you are trying to make a triangle. Giving a slightly wider area to find a good enough sitting position. Easier to do in my office, but in the HT - even more variables.

I have found I prefer being inside the triangle than being where the R&L meet at the 60 deg point. Somehow makes the soundstage better. In my opinion.

For excellent sound that won't break the bank, the 5 Star Award Winning Wharfedale Diamond 12.1 Bookshelf Speakers is the one to consider!
