Stereo system for wharf 10.2

Hi,
One friend of mine happen to visit my place and was REALLY impressed with my wharfedale 10.2s,the sound as well as the looks,he really loved them and wants to buy new 10.2s.I have hooked them up with norge 2060 amp but he is not interested in norge instead wants a better stereo amp,infact he wants the whole setup.he says is primarily into music but would love to go for a plasma later and watch movies.music first, would like a cd player and also go for dac if needed.what system would complement the wharfs at one end and is ready spend 50k.

you can also ask your friend to demo the wharf diam 9 series..............they outperform the 10 series.

Di9 outperforming Di10 would depend totally on the listener's ears.

I find Diamond 10 series better than 9.

NAD offerings are very well suited to Wharfedale speakers.

Why don't you and your friend hear out the various combinations and decide for yourself ?

Marantz PM 600x series amps are very well suited for Whar 10.2

I use an pm 5003 marantz with an wharf 10.1 and they are really good as long as you dont expect big bass!which actualy my wharf sw150 provides!
