Subwoofer Suggestion Needed

Planning to purchase Polk RTi series for home theater setup. Which subwoofer would you guys suggest? Should i go ahead with Polk DSW Pro 660 or SVS PB12 NSD?. Did anybody paired Polk Rti A7 series with SVS PB12 NSD?

The room size is 16x14 and will be used mostly for movies.

Thanks Velmurugan. As it was not possible to audition SVS sub, i was little undecided about it. But after reading various posts over other forums, decided to go ahead with SVS PB12 NSD.

I saw your setup and wanted to build similar to yours with Front High speakers. Many were advising me not go for Front High speakers instead go for back surround speakers. Since I don't have much space in the back, i prefer to go for Front High speakers. Please let me know your experience with Dolby Pro Logic IIz experience in your setup.

My room size is 16.5ft x 14.5ft. I could not get chance to audition SVS sub to really compare. Yesterday received the sub and hadn't got chance to unpack it due to other works.

In my case distance from seating position to surround back speakers are high, hence I was not feeling much of effects from surround back. Very very few BDs got 6.1/7.1 audio, hence for most of the sources surround back sounds were simulated from the surround sounds available in the source.

I tried Front Wide and Front High as well. I found that the best for my setup is Front High.

I can change the mode between Front High and surround back using the AVR remote. I use surround back mode if the source is 6.1/7.1 (like Lord of the Rings). I also use surround back mode if I am watching TV while eating on the dining table.

You may try both and decide the one which you feel best for you.
