Suggest 5.1 speakers+receiver/HTIB around 25K for Airtel HD STB

Hi everyone I'm going to upgrade my SD Airtel STB to HD. So for audio please suggest 5.1 speakers + receiver or HTIB around 25K. Speakers wall mountable are preferred.

LCD = LG Scarrlet 2.0 42"

Room dimension = 16' x 11'

HTIB systems likes Denon 1312XP, Onkyo HT-S3500 are best for tight budgets and very good bang for the buck. But if you can stretch the budget a bit then getting seperates would be more advisable.........something like an entry level receiver from Denon/Onkyo with a good 5.1 satellite speaker system would be perfect.

OK I can stretch upto 30K what are my options including even some used stuff/DIY.

surinder1508 - Think about it this way. You can get a car for around 50K (used Maruti 800) 1L (Nano) 3L (Spark) - 5L (Ritz) - 7L (Dzire) - 10L - (City) - 15L (XUV500), so on and so forth right?

Now each of these cars would have some features to justify increase in price. Yes some of them are overpriced and some are aptly priced, but the overpricing is by 5-10% max not more. So for each budget you're getting what you pay for. Think of HTiB as a 5L car. Would separates (or a 7/10L car) be a better product. Of course, it'd be because of the extra moolah resulting in more features, better construction, etc. You have to decide what is your budget. If you don't fix up a budget it's very easy to fall into the trap of a better product for putting in 5-10K more and there's no end to it. Show me a product and this forum will show you a better product if you put in 10K more :)

HTiB is good to go. Enjoy it for a few years until you become passionate about movies/music. Then you can start your search for an even better product provided you are able to spare time for enjoying that product.

Thanks Kneo I understand your point and yes 30K is my cut-out spendings for the application as of now. BTW I already have this stuff in my HT.

AVR = ONKYO TX-NR807
FS = POLK AUDIO TSi 500
Centre = POLK AUDIO CS 20
Surround = POLK AUDIO TSi 200
SW = POLK AUDIO DSW PRO 600
Projector = Sony VPL AW 15
Screen = 120" wall paint
Media = PC with 4 X 2TB internal + 2 x2TB external HDDs

PS :- And yes I own both Maruti 800 and Honda City as well :ohyeah:

if you are from Bangalore check " the home theater store ".they have demon 1312 with jbl 140bk.

if you are OK with avr without warranty you can get demon 1612 for 22 k, there is a guy who sells it. I brought mine from him only.

For excellent sound that won't break the bank, the 5 Star Award Winning Wharfedale Diamond 12.1 Bookshelf Speakers is the one to consider!
