Suitable speakr for Marantz PM-6003

Since u liked DALI,,, I think u shd audition Dali Ikon 6 too.... and mezzo would have been sounded bright to u,,, tats y u liked Dali.. but Aviano s are not as bright as Mezzo .. Mezzo owing to its ATC Tweeter techology,, sounds bright..

I don't blame mezzo's tweeter for brightness but I would say the new tweeter is more detailed. It depends on what amp and source you're using.
I did A-B between M-S Mezzo 2 and Dali Zensor 1 using NAD c356bee amp. The mids on Mezzo's sounded little muffled and the Dali's mids sounded more open. The highs sounded almost same. The Zensor 1 being small speakers lacked bass extension.

May be the preference to Dali's is because of the difference in sound signature.

Dear I know we all want value for money and we try to fetch some advice from the members. I saw your question and the answers too now tell me what speakers you r buying. Each one has his own experience, knowledge and taste in music. I had best of the system installed for audition which at that point thought was crap, so do your own audition with what ever suggestion you have but dont buy unless u are sure about it, though it is a good brand but still too listen to it as big brands also make crap stuff sometimes.
Happy buying.

Dali ikon 6 is way out of budget MRP around 85k.

@Ravi - You're right. Mezzo sounded muffled.

All speakers were auditioned with CA CDP and PM6003.

Any pointers on Focal Chorus 714 v/ Epos epic 5 with PM6003

Chid,

Our forum member denom mentioned much lesser price for Ikon 6. You can pm him and check for more information.

A beautiful, well-constructed speaker with class-leading soundstage, imaging and bass that is fast, deep, and precise.
