I've spent a good amount of time with an SVS SB13Ultra. I can say with confidence that it is by far the best sounding sub woofer I have heard for movies and music. I've heard Velodyne's and JBL's Synthesis series and while they are outstanding products, none of them can beat the pricing of SVS. The company's after sales is excellent too.
The SVS isopods are super effective. My colleagues sub was rattling his neighbors two floors below. The pods eliminated the problem. Once again, well made and well priced.
Good choice on your PB10000 sub woofer though I feel the SB version would have given you better results with music and you have a set of floor standers that play low. Your requirements are different. At the asking price, there is nothing to beat it.
