Tata Sky Multi TV connection...

Hi,

I am TS HD PVR user since last 2 years. I am satisfied with there service and find it economical.

Recently moved to Pune and applied for re-installation, which they did on time and promptly.

My friend lives in next building say 200 meters away, can I opt for Multi TV connection and place 2nd connection at his end?

If its possible going for Mega annual pack will make the annual cost for 2 connection will be much cheaper.

Has anyone tried this ? (not sure whether the 2nd connection will have separate dish or so ? )

I think the catch is that multi tv has to have the same address.however do check out the revised rates for HD on multi tv.

Yes Umesh when contacted to CC they repeated the words " You have to have same address",

I consider my friend could give me his flat on rent and that rent agreement to be served as the adress proof. Will that work ?

I am aware about new multi-tv connection charges, its rs 200 for additional connection.. still the combined mega pack is affordable (comes approx. Rs 380 something)...

I dont think so that yr idea will work as the installation engineers that would come , will not accept the two actual diff addresses as one, however there is no harm in trying yr luck,cheers

If they start accepting such requests, then many people in a building would join together and get mutli-tv connections. One would take annual mega pack and all will enjoy same pack at highly discounted charges. Result: TS would be forced to close shop

In document actual diff addresses matters so you have to give your address proof
and you can register your package on your mobile No.

What you are trying to do is cheat the system. TS can and will file a criminal offence case against you - yes, "criminal case" and not a "civil case". The following reply is perfectly correct ...

They don't pull wire from one dish to two different flats for multi, forget separate buildings.
