Just the thought of starting a remodeling project in your home can cause stress. When most people think of remodeling, they imagine a room, or rooms, being torn apart and rebuilt from the ground up. Though some remodeling projects are that extensive, there are plenty of smaller remodeling projects that can be done without tearing your home apart. Here are ten manageable remodeling projects to consider.

.Paint. Repainting your homes interior is a great way to give your home a whole new look without spending a fortune on a several months long remodeling project. Make sure to get a higher quality paint and to hire a professional who has the proper equipment and experience to do the job right.

.Cabinet hardware. Replacing the hardware on your kitchen and bathroom cabinets is an easy and inexpensive ways to change up your home. Its a great little do-it-yourself project you can tackle in a few hours. All you need is some cabinet hardware you like from a local home improvement store and a screwdriver.

.Kitchen update. Kitchen remodels are one of the most popular remodeling projects. Unfortunately they tend to be the most costly and time consuming as well. For a simpler project, simply update your kitchen by repainting cabinets or replacing the countertops with a new material.

.New fixtures. Though it may seem like such a small change, replacing light fixtures and faucets in your kitchen and bathrooms really can change the look in those rooms. If youre feeling brave, theyre jobs that most homeowners can tackle on their own though replacing sink fixtures can be a little tricky.

.Bathroom update. You dont have to tear up your bathroom to refresh the look of it. By simply getting new towels, bath mats, and a shower curtain, you can really change things up for less than 50 dollars.

.Entryway. The entryway is the first thing people see when they step inside your home so logically, its a great place to start when remodeling. You can replace your front door or repaint it. You can replace the door handle with something more modern. You can spruce up your porch by adding some potted plants or by replacing the light fixture and house numbers.

.Landscaping. Though its not a remodeling project per se, updating your landscaping adds curb appeal to your home. Best of all, it keeps the mess outside instead of inside.

.Home dcor. Accent your home with some new dcor such as new pillows for the sofa or new curtains for the windows. A few minor purchases can really complement your home without having to do any major remodeling.

.Accent wall. If youre feeling bold, choose one wall and make it an accent wall by wallpapering it or by painting it a different color than the rest of the walls in the room.

.Declutter. This last project is one that any homeowner can do because its completely free and may even turn a profit. Sometimes, the solution isnt to buy something new but to get rid of things you already have. If your rooms are too crowded with furniture and other non-necessities, have a yard sale and donate or throw out what doesnt sell. Decluttering your home can really make a difference without spending a cent.
