if everyone is voting , the majority have voted for the person they want , and the issue are being raised by the minority which may not matter so much.

There is a concept of acoustic fencing which you can see on roads specially those passing near to courts. They help to trap noise outside only. You can have them installed.

The plot under construction is an acre or more. I and many others in the building are installing double glazed windows and doors in the hope of mitigating some of the agony.
