There is a concept of acoustic fencing which you can see on roads specially those passing near to courts. They help to trap noise outside only. You can have them installed.

The plot under construction is an acre or more. I and many others in the building are installing double glazed windows and doors in the hope of mitigating some of the agony.
I have been researching active noise cancellation possibilities that could be retrofitted to windows and doors….

This is called as development . Cant do much , more than noise pollution it is the stress on existing infrastructure which will be felt as time goes by.

I sometimes fear does the BMC do any study how much a piece of land can sustain wrt number of big buildings being made or they just leave it on god thinking by the time effects will show the people who gave all approvals would have retired or would have made enough money.
