Flagship Power Amplifier from Parasound.
[IMG2]http://img546.imageshack.us/img546/5382/parasounda21.jpg[/IMG2]With circuitry designed by the legendary John Curl, the Parasound A21 is a high bias amplifier operating in the A/AB mode. Featuring balanced and XLR inputs, the A21 can pump 250 watts per channel of high quality sound into any speakers, even ones that are hard to drive.
The A21 features a 1.2kVA toroid power transformer with independent winding for each channel. The amplifier has a very clean circuitry with nary a capacitor or inductor in the signal path.
Giving it the product of the year award, Audioholics said, "For those who desire the power of a Mack truck with the finesse of a Mercedes Benz in a two-channel amplifier, look no further than Parasound."
At Decibel, the Parasound amplifier and 19771, A21 power amplifier and the P3 pre-amplifer are being demonstrated connected to speakers such as the Martin Logan EM, Sonus Faber's Toy and Liuto speakers, etc.
