Well im in the event management industry working for a company call Fountainhead events in Mumbai one of the top 5 agencies in India been working for the last 6 yrs. Any of u guys heard of the one tree music festival tht happens in Mumbai and meet alot of artist from spyrogrya , buddyguy, earth wind and fire, Kool and the gang , blues brothers , Inxs , Al jearreau, George Duke , Ravi Coltrane , Earl Klugh, Jose Feliciano , 50 cent , Paul Vyn Dyke Bernard Alison and Chico and the Gypsy (Gypsy Kings) thses are the events i have worked on any of u guys been for theses concert in Mumbai

An automobile engineer, passionate about all types of cars, bikes, trucks, construction equipment machinery of which have been very fortunate to have driven/operated quite a variety in the 34 yrs of my life.... currently running a surveyor firm specialising in surveys of vehicles, general & project cargo's from mumbai port... love to drive/ride. visiting new places are always a pleasure....
Passionate about music(Mainly Hard Rock/Metal), been brought up in a family who loved to lisn to music/have wild weekend parties, alas the audio set-up in my childhood was fantatstic (too bad I was too young to understand the value of it) Made do with average music systems all through the following years having never quite had the dosh to set aside for buying seperate components.
Maybe in the near future....

My handicap depends on which side of the bed I get up from!

It generally hovers around 29-30, though my younger son plays to 12. I have played at Bolaram once ( among the 33-34 courses that I have played at all around the country and overseas). I use Titleist clubs( woods and irons) and Taylor Made Rossa Monza putter.

Good to see another golfer here GeorgeO. What's your handicap btw? I am at 18 and hope to knock it down to 14 or 15 in the next year or so by improving my short game. I play at-least 2 times a week.

Thank you all for coming forward and sharing about you and your family! Expecting a lot to chip in!

Here, "oldies are goldies," Gentlemen here are so lucky that you are all having a nice time in yours 40s and 50s! Of course, music has no age, but sometimes we tend to lose our hobbies, etc., over a period of time.

My father tells me that he used to play guitar very well and he had a passion towards acting, but he could pursue his passion only upto the age of 24, when he got married!

True

We also realise than in our younger days, cell phones, laptops, sms, outsourcing/24/7, internet and email etc were never envisaged. Books and comics, movies, vinyl/tapes, snail mail were the order of the day.

Todays babas and babies have longer commutes, longer working hours and less leisure. So I say hats off to all the youngsters who are in this hobby!

well, I am a Post Graduate in Law (LLM.,) with a PG Dip in Personnel Management and working for a PSU as an in house counsel and heading the legal wing.

Sounds good George - I play bolarum twice a month, and like you I have played various courses in India, S.Asia & N.America. Best so far was Mauna Kei (not sure bout spelling) in Hawaii.
I use Nike Sasquatch Drivers and Taylor made irons.

I am into software (CRM functional consultant) having about 6yrs exp. Married to a dentist, who is a home maker and taking full(and well) care of our little 1 yr old daughter.

I am thankful to all the members out here who are sharing very helpful info.

I will be building my home theater soon (after constructing our dream home this year). already started going through the threads(liked especially Subhash's who build his own) to plan my HT room.

I am a BE in Electronics.

Working with a Co. dealing with Engine design, Engine design S/W tools and Engine test equipment.

Married and wife is a teacher. Have two daughters aged 12 & 5 who are also studying at the same school where my wife teaches.

I am 28, basically an electrical Engineer but working in the IT industry for about 4.8 years now. Initially was in a top Indian IT MNC and have recently switched to an international IT MNC.

Still unmarried but will get married by this year end (that explains me being in high saving mode).

Married to a lovely girl whom I was in love head over heels, who shares the same passion and shops sometime with me for 6 hrs in a electronic shop, wear safety jacket and hops into my bullet, rd, or jeep. understand DACs, bass traps, upscalling, connects all the wires, helps in A/B testing and also answers my huge list of girl friends SMS and Phones calls with a smile
