I'm employed in a large Indian software company. completed 16 years there recently. Wife is a great homemaker. We have two boys.. 8 and 1.75..

I'm into AV in mind from a long time, but, started practically about 2 years ago only. This forum has helped me a lot.

I am an HR professional for last 9 years, currently with a top private sector bank as Asst Vice President.

My interest for Hifi spans last 16 yrs (since I was in XII std - 1994 - Fabricated a DIY Floor-standers (Philips Components) and attached the same with Pioneer mini-comp. 1997 was when I purchased my first CD Player - Sony CDP S45)

Spouse is a Software engineer, currently in 24X7 service of our 1yr old son

I am into day trading/intraday with commodities, stocks and currency, i have yet to come across some business which is as roller coaster ride as this. I have to be active from 10 in the morning till midnight, as the trading runs that long.

I am into mutual funds too.

An engineer by profession, settled in Cochin (born and brought up a little further south), 30+ years in oil & gas and fertilisers including a few years in one of those wonderful Caribbean islands and now in the Middle East, worked mostly from home in India for a few multinationals before coming here last year, had enough of travels and been to several continents except Australia and Antartica, a couple of years more left before the juice runs out and calling it a day; wife a Professor and son and daughter in the final school years (became father after 11 long years after marriage) in India.

an Ekalavya of many audio gurus in the U.S.A. and other places, been in this hobby for more than 3 decades but turned serious in the last 10 years after ensuring enough funds for spending and meeting other commitments.

I am an engineer and MBA and work as a VP for international sales and services in a software product company.

Born and brought up in Bombay (before it became Mumbai ) before I moved to Lucknow for my MBA and now in Bangalore since 10 yrs.

Wife left her job in a software company to take care of our one year old son. She shares my interest in movies but not in HFV

A Great thread started by Venktesh. I belong to a family of Jewellers, and we are into this trade since 1880 at Lucknow, in 1996 we opened a Branch at New Delhi so since then I am assisting my father and looking after my family business. But since my childhood I had a strange feetish towards Electronics and Music systems in particular, as I use to open everything with the screw driver and try to find out its working. In my school days too I had developed a lot of projects for my Electronics Society and all my teachers use to complain that I dedicate more of my time towards electronics than studies.

Got married at an early age of 21 as I was the eldest Grandson of the family so with my Grandfather's wish I got married at such an early age. Its 10 years of marriage for me and I have a Daughter and Son aged 7 and 3.

Through this very forum I have made a lot of like minded friends and I also met Sumit from this forum too, with whom I am going to start my dream of selling the High end Audio/ Visuals stuff by opening the Lakozy in Delhi.
I am really excited with this new development in my Life and finally I am working for something I am passionate about.
