Top-tier Indian Loudspeaker Brands

We had our conversations before and I know your preferences when it comes to hifidelity loudspeakers. Your approach is very custom designed to suit your music and SPL levels. I am sure you will never buy a Tannoy, TAD or Vandersteen loudspeaker too ;)

TAD used to make pro speakers IIRC, Tannoy still does also IIRC. While I wouldn't be interested in consumer TAD, the larger heritage Tannoys of old likely produce interesting if low volume timbre, the price these go for there are better choices, but before Uli Tannoy was interesting. Vandersteen, not worth discussing. So I would buy older TAD (pro) and Tannoy (heritage) at the right price (new), but the price I consider worthy for these is well below current/previous market price. One final note I'd only buy these to add to my collection, not replace my main speakers, there is no worthy replacement.

Can you suggest a few truly high performing loudspeaker setups of your choice that is available in India? We can add that to the list.

Apologies, I don't buy indian unless I have to. If I had to, I'd buy pulz cinema speakers or ahuja pro speakers, likely not what you had in mind. But since I dont have to, I dont buy them.

TAD still does professional speakers.
From what I gather you like high efficiency speakers that can go quite loud without any compression or distortion. Usually such speakers are horn based and you typically see them used in professional applications. I know a few people who have an affinity for such custom built systems for their personal use. Heavy rock and such music sounds great on those speakers. Tough to use them in normal listening environments in homes due to their large size.

The pro series is only drivers.
Yea they no longer make fully built horn loudspeakers - they only sell horn drivers that cost a bomb. You gotta build your own cabinet and crossovers.

Tannoys are still great but only used/pre-owned. I am looking for a GRF memory or Canterbury to upgrade to from my current Turnberry in future.

There is also lockwood which can be considered for more reasonable coin.

So, we have arrived at the the following list.

Rethm - Established brand
Cadence - Established brand but no longer in operation
Acoustic Portrait - Proof of capability established and will manufacture against order
Suman Jana - Proof of capability established and will probably manufacture against order
Mallik Reddy - Proof of capability established and mostly does advisory

Are we missing any other brand ? For a country with 1.4 billion, this is crazy !
BTW, I am building an advance TL speakers next month with Peerless 12" woofer and Celestion 1.5" neodymium magnet CD with 12"×4" exponential horn. Tuning around 63Hz. It will be slightly over damped. Stuffing will be adjusted after listening. It will be a huge speaker with approximate dimensions 50"x 16" x 17". I am a boutique builder and take only 1 or 2 projects in 3 to 4 years.
