Hi.
I am looking for some good speaker upto 50k. Mainly will be using through Bluetooth. Dont wanna go through the hassle of wiring but wont mind if the output is top notch compared to tower speakers.
I had auditioned sony gt4d , as that was mainly available. Looking for a single tower as compared to two, as running wire would be not practical with kids around.
Incase 5.1 will be blast would take that but if the difference would be not much it wont make sense.
Let me know your suggestions.
50k for amp + speaker, wiring additional wont be a problem.

5.1 speakers shouldnt be very big like book shelf speaker, dont have that space on the wall due to false cieling.

Main purpose is music.

The philips 1 seems promising but the speakers need battery, thats a big drawback.

Why not look at the Bose offerings? I guess they specialize in such requirements.

Hello,

You can look at Yamaha HTR 3067 AVR and JBL Cinema 300 5.1 speaker system. Both you can get within Rs.50k budget. The JBL comes with wires too so no need of additional expense in that regard. The system is pretty compact and sounds pretty darn good. It's punchy and musical too. Do give it a try.

Cheers

What do you mean by output, sound quality or loudness? I found the Bose units to be quite good for indoor use, both quality and loudness wise.

I would suggest getting bookshelf speakers and a stereo amp with built in DAC.

A beautiful, well-constructed speaker with class-leading soundstage, imaging and bass that is fast, deep, and precise.
