TV or Projector under 2L

If it is a dedicated room I will suggest a projector like benq or viewsonic entry level ones around 1.5l with warranty. Actually the method in which the projectors output 4k is interesting one is the native 4k one which are insanely expensive the other is the faux 4k which though use lens shifting technology to project 4 full hd images but they also are cheaper and offer significantly detailed images than a full hd ones.

So in a dedicated room go for a projector and i would suggest a faux 4k one which will be good enough for the next 3-4 years

Going back to your original post, Given that this is a secondary setup
Now had this been a primary setup, I'd have said that get a TV, period.

However as this is a non primary, suggest you take a look at this thread, esp the last few posts

Look at Wemax /VAVA/ Xiaomi...for 2L they are very good options. Especially Wemax A300
