Unable to connect YHT 4950 with LG TV 6300 using HDMI

Hi
Recently purchased YHT 4950. The system is working fine with all the other modes of input like Bluetooth or FM but no sound output when connected to TV with HDMI arc .
have already done the below
1. Connected HDMI out in receiver and connected HDMI IN ARC in TV
2. Changed the TV setting, sound output to “Audio output(optical/HDMI ARC)
3. tried all the combinations of HDMI ports

not sure what to do next and how to resolve the issue . Please help guys

If you have a monitor please try to connect it and check it out.

Have you enabled the ARC function on AVR? I believe there is a setting in the AVR menu do enable it.
