Are you looking at a Bookshelf or Floorstander? Usually, for lower budgets, a bookshelf provides more VFM than a Floorstander.

i am going for separates DENON 1713 and then FS for now 60k max 'no regret '

i thought sonodyne 2605v3 but only 125w 3 way.
but polk audio 200w 2 way tsi 400 both above are 29k...
so unable to decide..
i felt both are good when i had demo..
so unable to decide..

hear them to understand wht is good for you.
audio is unlike video....my taste can be crappy to ur ears and vice versa.......

That's precisely what he is trying to tell you... listen and decide. You are in Chennai... take a day or two off and visit various dealers and have a listen. Ask any of the FM to come with you and help you audition.

the problem is i have auditioned today sonodyne , polk audio, yamaha and jamo..

so i felt there is really not much diff in the above sonodyne, and polk audio is short listed
as jamo is a bit low end i think.. yamaha was also fine ..its between sonodyne vs polk audio

Did you carry the Denon (if bought) for the audition? Or were the speakers connected to different amp, when you heard them?

no with there avr only sonodyne yamaha avr ...and polk audio in denon avr

.please try 2605 and other towers with 1612 1713 or any amp having 70 watts @ 8ohms.
1713 70watts @8ohms.try 6 ohm tower speakers for better output.
towers need more amp power to perform.

still i suggest you carry your avr and get another demo.....

You are facing the same problem as I faced 2years back.
Go, for SONUS eyes closed. The difference is when you listen to music through a CD player.
Sonus would be much more pleasing to your ears.Polk, definitely brighter, not as balanced as the SONUS.
