I have been trying out few music players and came across this beautiful player called songbird from mozilla, everything fine except the sound output option like WASAPI or ASIO. Mozilla developers are reluctant to add this features as there was not much request for the same.

If we could add some votes for this feature request it would be helpful for a serious listner in future releases.

To vote for WASAPI feature go to WASAPI output and click on "I Like this Idea" to make it happen sooner.

I have tried this on multiple occasions with multiple builds. Songbird is just too unwieldy and too much of a memory hog. Looking pretty can only take up so much of your system resources.

I think there needs to be a lot of optimization on this front by the developers.

And until they have ASIO support, there is no point using this critically as a player.
