Wharfedale Diamond 10.1 VS Polk R300

Hey guys this is my first post on this forum, I am putting together a 2.1 system for my desktop.Wanted some suggestion from you guys.I have decided on the Sonodyne Sia 102R.I am stuck with the decision on buying speakers-

1) Wharfedale Diamond 10.1
2)Polk Audio R300- Polk Audio - R/T/M Series - Amazing Value

Any help would be great.

Hi Nik,
I have auditioned Wharf 9.2 and Polk RTI A1. If these speakers are considered similar to your choices, then I would say they don't have common sonic character. Wharf's 9.2 have laid back sound with decent bass, whereas I found RTI A1 to have treble'ish sound with little bass.

You should audition them prior to making final decision.

What kind of music do u listen? Polk are always little forwward, Whar 9.2 has a nice bass for a bookshelf
