Which IEM/DAC - NE6/RE0/PL50/RE2 xMOD/uDAC/E7

Guys:

I need help. I am trying to find the cheapest, VFM, most effective solution
to improve listening experience from my laptop.

My shure IEM also broke few days back, so I need a IEM and a DAC.

I was browsing the forum for the past several days and pretty much
narrowed down my options for IEM as follows (along with approx prices):

NuForce NE6 ( 2300 )
Head Direct RE0 (5200), RE1 (4200) , RE2 (1850)
Sound Magic PL50 ( 2300 )

For the USB DAC
Creative xMOD ( 2200 )
NuForce uDAC ( 5450 )
Fiio E7 ( 4000 )

I listen to Hindi/Tamil movie songs and Remixes/Albums. I am also not
always with my IEMs and would probably use it for about 3 - 4 hrs
a day at the max. I like little bit of bass but not too much.

Given that I like to spend as little as possible what would be the most
VFM solution ( IEM + DAC from the list ) (Note I am not asking the best
option but a VFM solution ).

What would be your suggestion, given my situation/listening preferences.
If I have to spend a little more, I might buy them in stages and not both
at once.

Any help will be greatly appreciated.

Mainly to use with my laptop at office.

However if it could also help with PMP as a source later thats fine.

I dont want to complicate the requirement too much, so primarily laptop usage.

To put a closure to this thread,
I ended up buying the xmod and Nuforce NE7m.

The NE7 certainly lives up to the hype/expectation.

I am not satisfied with the xmod as of now.

I will burn them for some more time and listen and write down my
impression/review.

Yes, though I see difference with and without the xmod (crystalizer, cmss-3d options) I am not sure if I really like it - atleast yet.

I know I was taking a risk when I paid 2 k for it. Good thing I paid only 2 k for it. The MRP on the box is about 7 k. I cant imagine the plight of people who would have paid anything close to the MRP for this as this is not certainly worth high bucks.
