hi there i want to know whether
USA yamaha rx v671 works in india this is regarding the power supply i am asking or need to use converter
pls some one let me know regarding this
thanks

125 watts per channel

Ha ha ...........:p

Anyway, a good model with lot of features.

Total power : 125 X 8 = 1000 watts @ 8 ohms.:eek::confused:

I wonder how 11kg, 7.1 Yamaha rx-v671 pumps out 125 watts per channel when the their current stereo integrated amp AS-2000 is capable of just 90W per channel weighs 20 kg plus. :lol:

These number games.;)

A multi channel amp having at around 50 X 8 = 400 watts @ 8ohms (20 Hz-20kHz) of continuous power should weigh a minimum of 20kg. Anything less in weight and its a farce.

Anyway, I am not here to say that Yams are in a wrong foot. Every body Yamaha, Denon, Harmon Kardon, Marantz,....... unending list are in the war of WATTS.
