We have threads like "what are we currently listening to.." and "what movies we like"...
Let's share our tastes in music and our setup according to our tastes, and how they fare.
For example someone with interest in classical music might find a particular pair of speakers/amp more musical than another one. So let's share...
This may help a lot of us with similar tastes to choose a particular Amp/AVR/speakers etc.
On my part, I listen to lot of classic rock (all variations) and a bit of contemporary rock as well. Bollywood music is almost negligible, except for when they occur in movies.
I usually listen to Pink Floyd, Zeppelin, Sabbath, The Doors, Queen, John Mayer, Dire Straits etc. in DTS Surround Sound, PLII or Stereo mode via Onkyo 508 & 728 combo. I find the surround effect very intriguing and it adds a new dimension to these classics. Stereo imaging is also very good.
And if I may add, I usually crank the volume up very high.
