8" mid-bass drivers

hi all
Since my tweeters burnt out, while doing replacement job, thinking to replace mid-bass drivers. Currently those are 6.5" peerless and want to go for 8". But the problem is 8" drivers I searched on net are woofers not mid-base. Any suggestion to get 8" mid-woofer?
My cabinates are floor standing designed with transmission line. Amp is 85w RMS

the problem with an 8" mid woofer is that no matter how good the frequency response is, due to the physical dimensions, the upper mids will beam.

PS: if the bass is not a priority you can look at the legendary philips/boston acoustics hiq which is more of a mid than a woofer
also the power handling is a bit less, but they have enough sensitivity that 25W should be all you need
