Hello All,
Here is a link to Kimmo Saunisto's archived webpage:
https://web.archive.org/web/20160226193950/http://kimmosaunisto.net/index.html
(Unfortunately it is an archived version but still contains loads of information)
Here is his ideas about Cardiod bass:
Kimmo is the creator of the software VituixCAD.
In my very short experience in speaker design related aspects, I find him to be extremely knowledgeable and consider him amongst the smartest people this field has known. To those who already know about him and have not seen these page, I think this link would be helpful for looking at his designs, objectives behind each design, and the eventual result he was able to obtain, and his critique.
To others who have not heard about him, often, to most people in other discussion forums, Kimmo comes across as rude and arrogant especially because he challenges several (long held as sacred) conventional notions in speaker design :D. Examples being some notions about driver separation in multiway speakers, speaker design based on power response, directivity, etc, and not simply based on on-axis response, the notion of crossover as directivity component, speaker box shaping as a tool to improving directivity characteristics, advocating the use of dual channel measurements, and so much more. If you want to know more, just take a look at the 'VituixCAD thread' on diyaudio :D
Apart from all the above, i feel that he is kind of like a "subjectivist - objectivist" :D (again just my opinion based on reading his posts over the years)
Please take a look at these pages and see if you find something interesting/useful.

Thanks
Vineeth
