Airtel HDMI Cable

Hi,

I wanted to know about the quality of the HDMI Cable that Airtel provides with their HD STB. If we change it to a better quality HDMI cable will there be improvement in Video quality?

I hv been using the cables supplied by Airtel /Tata dth and they look to be fine

There will be no difference. HDMI is digital. It will either work or won't work at all. There is nothing in between. Use current one.

Using the same cable provided by airtel. Tried using different cable also but didn't had any change in the quality. Stay with the cable provided with the box.

I have found that in my system, there's no change in sound quality with change in Digital cables like USB, Digital coaxial, optical, HDMI. Some change with power cable upgrades and maximum change is after interconnect and speaker cable upgrades.


I guess that same should apply to video too.

Beauty of digital cables. They either work don't work at all. No use wasting money buying expensive ones. Buy only if you need a longer one.
