Both Happy and Sad to part with my priceless gem to be a part of someone else home.
Easy to understand having seen you put ample effeort on every step.

Both Happy and Sad to part with my priceless gem to be a part of someone else home.
Since the design is frozen now, maybe you can make more of these gems. Hoping to have a listen on sat. How much would it cost to get a pair if more people are interested?
Thanks Flash!
@ Hari ....... what should I say?
Have'nt heard them still .... no speaker cables available ... would now go out and buy them ... I ain't too much convinced about cables, so would settle for the ok quality ... there are many audio / audiophile outlets in my area.
What a lovely finish !!!!! :clapping::clapping: You were right .... the shade is dark enough with all wood grains visible. Daresay, I have'nt yet seen any speaker looking soooo great ... abso unconventional looks too ...
Really, don't mind paying the extra that you had been screaming on ... due to the high finishing costs!
Would also need to 'do up' the spare room where I am keeping this system (Stereo 3). Its currently 'decked up' with old rejected furniture ... also does'nt have the desired curtains ..... so, here comes extra cash outflows ..And, my carpenter has still not supplied the custom rack that was ordered long back ... have to keep all 'here and there'.
One feedback ..... do not use the yellow tape for packing. It has left marks on the polished veneer ... the Delhi heat has melted the yellow colour component and it has formed a sticky yellow coating on the veneer (at stick points). Yes, it would come off .... need some whisky or rectified spirit. Can't do this with rum!
Thanks Flash!

So, David Oistrakh (Violin) gets the honours!
Purchased speaker cables (Nordstone) 2.5 sq mm @ 110/mt. Went slow ... did not crank up, and played at medium volume. Very very good outcome ... enough volume levels ... clean, neutral sound ... very good bass, even though violin concerts have pretty low bass in comparison to the other instruments ... and a very clean midrange. Let the drivers burn-in a bit @ 100 hours with this settings.
Have given a fair toe-in ... approx distance from the back wall @ 1.5'. Distance between the speakers (as the crow flies) approx 4'.
Yes, now have to dispose off the junk furniture lying around in the room for the SQ to improve .... AND further feedbacks regarding fine-tuning of the speaker placements welcome ..... could only be possible with 'physical' presence!
Forgot to mention .... the Krell is getting warm in the Delhi heat. Played for 30 mins and it was quite warm. The room does'nt have AC, so yet another expense to handle!
