Are you ready for 2nd Mumbai Meet 2010?

Hi Vijay and everyone,

I am relatively new to the forum, I understand the mumbai meet will be at Vijays place hence it may have limitation on the number of people who can be accomodated. So I was wondering if i can come for the mumbai meet ( only if one additional person can be accomodated without much of a trouble)

Meet At My Place

I will be most pleased if the meet is held at my place subject to my new projector being installed, i have been told that the projector will be delivered to me in 15 working days, there could be some delay too. I can commit a date only after my projector is installed successfully. In other words i will not like to have the meet at my place without my projector, even if someone arranges a projector or television.

Meet Without A Projector?

Further to my post i think we should not hurry up for nothing at all that the meeting should be held only on 19th and that too even if it is without a projector, it will be quite a humiliation for my theatre to have a television as viewing source and most importantly the forum members may like to see a projector in action and not a television

In other words if you'll are very keen to have on the 19th, then there are members in Mumbai, who are having projector and screen, request them for a meet at their place. There are indeed good chances that my projector will be installed before the meet, but risk is always there for delay.

One of the main benefits for meet is to have a projector & screen (P&S) because most members are into television as source of video, this way they will get a first hand detailed opportunity to see P&S.

It is almost 1 year since I posted in this thread, still no Muhurtam to arrange a second meet.
Pune friends are much active & has done really well.When can we do similar in Mumbai?

Glad that you've brought up the topic Spiro.

I propose a meet in Vashi, Navi Mumbai. My club there has a nice conference room, where we can organise a good meet , along with food & drink. Ample parking available too!

It will be like a centre point for Mumbaikers & Punekars (M&P's). What say fellow M&P's???

Incidentally the club also has rooms available if any one joining us from outside mumbai/pune wants to avail of for staying over night pre/post meet & such.

We can accordingly also invite dealers/distri's to join us & give demo's of some of their brands, which I feel will be mutually beneficial to all involved

I hope we have the blessings of Super mod in this meet & that we can make it a great success.

Awaiting response from all members interested in joining/organising for MUMBAI HFV MEET!!!

Kindly also give tentative date(s) suitable.


PS: I can assure all that Hemant, Santy, Spriovious & Myself are all ready for this meet & our gears will accompany.

Can someone pls add an xl sheet to get the ball rolling.
