Asus Mini Media Player to HT

Dear All, i'm newbie and need experts suggestions here.

I have Philips LED TV and Philips 5000 Series HTS5540/ 94 3D Angled Speakers Home Theater.

I want to purchase Asus Mini Media Player and connect it to my home theater, is it possible to input movie in Asus Media Player and sound output from Home Theater and Video out put from my TV ???

I have heard lot about this player, do we have any other good media player in lesser price?

I have connected my TV to HT with HDMI Cable and i have good quality AUX cable as well.

Please let me know, how to connect and what all cables to purchase.

I guess Asus o-play has HDMI output, whereas your HT do not have HDMI input. If that is true, you will have to use the HDMI input of your TV to connect the Asus o'play, but you may not get the surround sound through HT.
