Asus O!Play Mini with DolbyTHD decoding, DTS HD-MA for just 3500!!

I just came across THIS review from Techtree, about Asus O Play mini that clearly states DolbyDigital THD passthrough AND decoding as well along with DTS MA, and all the regular formats available. read few reviews and I was pleasently surprised about the capability of this player and that to at a steal price of 3500 ....... any one out there bought this player, I want to get a solid confirmation about DD THD and DTS MA capabilities ........ I checked on their official site as well and it does states the same ...

^^ Yea true what I was surprised was the "decoding" capabilities of the player for DDTHD. We only have pass-through in the current gen media players ..... AFAIK

Before buying check they comes old chipset family which is lots of features missed out and limted memory /flash too .

is 3500 Rs india selling cost , USD pricing which they mentioned website ..

If mini will support below specs then no issues at all...

The 1055 is a newer chipset. It supports everything but there's a downer to the price - there's no networking!

Ofcoure there would be limitations, Just one USB port, no network support ...etc, but what do you expect from a 3500 player. There would be limitations to cut down cost. And old family chip-set, how is it that we have DDTHD and DTSMA ...... WDTV has the same realtek chipset with no support for HD Audio

there is some shop who selling Asus player ,I have also seen some vendor from mumbai but they adding some mergin like 1500~3000 Rs shipping cost ..

if they are adding that then its no brainier cause i am getting a Playon Mini HD for 6800 here itself

if someone could lead me to the main source of buying at 3500.
