Hello all.
I have a Yamaha AS 500 and B&O RL 140s. I have connected my WDTV Live through the proprietory AV out jack to the L/R Analogue input on my amp, since my amp doesn't have a digital input. I'm fairly happy with the sound.
Now my question is, will I be better off investing in a DAC, and connect the WDTV live through Optical out - DAC - L/R input on my amplifier. I mean i'm sure I can achieve better quality sound with a pricey DAC, but does it make sense to spring for a sub 2k rupee converters available on ebay.
Or has anyone else done it any other way?
Help / advice / suggestions / queries are much appreciated.
Cheers
