I think you have missed the posts by Ruben (outofthewoods) I'm in talks with a carpenter who has a lot of experience in speaker building. My objective is to get a fully made cabinet at a cost of equal to or lesser than the flat packs mentioned by our American friend.

What does one reckon the shipping time to be?

I intend to close the group buy in a day or two. After that, we would advise the participants to make payment directly to Danny and give a deadline for that as well. After the end of the deadline, Danny would dispatch the consignment for all those who have made payment. The shipping time is expected to be about 25 days so we can expect it to be between 3 1/2 to 4 weeks.

All with sonicaps upgrades & whatever be the Number of NoRez sheets necessary for the above.

I'm not sure how many No Rez sheets would be required for your kits. I suggest you interact with Danny by way of PM and post your exact requirement here.

I am thinking of buying (90% sure) N3S (for center) and N3 TL pair. Waiting for few answers from Danny. I would have loved to get the open baffle ones but the requirement of placing them 3 ft from rear wall is not possible for me, and I think it won't be possible in near future.

Since shipping is not too high, flatpacks from Ruben may make sense FOR N3s and N3, given his experience of working closely with Danny. However, he is quite unreachable.

As first timers and not heard much about X-LS encore and other before, can somebody post pictures of the complete box, and their specifications? Also I see lots posts showing interest. But how many of us placed orders? (I have not yet). What is the minimum order in quantity, so that Danny will ready to start shipment? Any specific dates worked out for this group buy project?

@rkk, please take some time to read the whole thread. Most of your questions will be answered. On the first two pages, you get information about the drivers and some built up speakers. I hope you understand that this group buy is for the drivers alone. Rajesh is also trying to get the cabinets manufactured locally for those interested.

On post #582 Rajesh is explaining about timelines for closing the group buy, payment and shipment.

I am still trying to close on cabinets from Ruben - is it possible? As per my last interaction with Danny, it is possible but one would have to pay the shipping. I am ready for it if it is reasonable. Specially for N3/ N3s.

Got Danny's response. Mail landed in spam.
So if you want to include cabinets from Danny, about 1 dollar per pound would be the shipping cost.
While I would like to keep the bookshelves for DIY, I would like the N3s/ N3 to be able to begin singing asap - hence a readymade cabinet.
