Hi guys,

I've got the consignment released and they were to go straight to the Courier company's warehouse but there were some issues.

1. Since some members have multiple packages and some packages were opened by the customs officials, these need to be repacked. They do not have infrastructure to re-pack, relabel the packages etc at that location.

2. Packages of even those members who have opted forChennai cabinet build would reach the warehouse and it was costing additional money to bring them to my home.

Fortunately one of the flats in the complex where I live got vacated a couple of days ago. I took them there. Posting a pic of mine with the kits. The open kits are mine.

Going by my numerous bad experiences with couriers, I've decided to go in with the best in business. So I got a quotation from Blue Dart at a discounted rate for transportation via surface transport. Relevant charges are given below. Minimum chargeable rate is for 10 kgs.

As U know tht its rainy season in Kerala, So there a is a chance for damage if mishandled by the courier guys. So I prefer for a plastic covering for my boxes if possible.

I had discussed this particular with the courier representative. According to him, since the transport vehicle and all warehouses are fully covered, the chances of damages due to rain are minimal.

However, I can get the packing organised if needed which would add to the costs.
