Hi people, sorry to flog a dead horse but this is about plasma break-in slides, and there does not seem to be any consensus as of yet regarding the settings to be used while using them. D-Nice of avsforum has recommended the following settings for G12 Panasonic panel.

Picture:
Picture Mode: Vivid
Contrast: 100
Brightness: 55
Color: 65
Tint: 0
Sharpness: 50
Color Temp: Cool
C.A.T.S: Off
Video NR: Off

Now obviously the more conservative of us are not going to be too excited about running our new plasmas at such searing settings, irrespective of the great funda behind it. So is it still as effective to run the break in slides at more conservative settings of everything at 50? Just want some personal opinions is all. It would be great if current owners could post their break in slide settings.
Next question is regarding the duration of break-in. Is it 100hrs or 150 or 200hrs? Specifically, what is the minimum duration after which I can safely watch 2.35:1 aspect (letterboxed) movies without having to worry about burn-in from the black bars?
Thanks in advance.

P.S.: Does Panasonic X20 have pixel orbiter which can be accessed via the menu? Asking because I can't find any such option. Or is it that for fear of someone accidentally turning this feature off, they have permanently turned it on and made it inaccessible from the user menu?
