cabinet finishing

hi all,
i am building the visaton clou speakers (please visit the link below). the box is ready and finishing is pending. for the sides of the box, i have selected to give it a veneer finish of similar looks as in the picture. not able to make out what kind of finish it is in the front. please help me in this regard. no other pictures of this kits are available.

I would go with American walnut.its amazingly good looking

Sorry,ididnt got yourpost clearly,front apply two coatscof wood primer with one coat of automotive paint.i done it for my speaker build.u can check my latest post for looks

The front appears to have a matt black textured finish .You can use Matt black automotive refinish paint .Just do a pre coat of surfacer.
