Certainly looks interesting. However it says that you need to add lead shots etc. and the machined piece is made of aluminum. How much would it weight overall ? It will affect the cartridge/arm LF resonance . Too much weight and it may turn out to be a problem. You might need a perforated sheet metal type head shell to cut down additional weight.

With an old cartridge and old stylus, it certainly looks like a interesting experiment.
Can't you get that aluminum body machined here ?

The body for the DL103R looks attractive. Have you any links for a user review ?
