Under pressure from the wife to buy another TV, I came across this email about Casio Lamp Free projectors (have no idea what that means) for about Rs. 55,000

How good or bad is this? Are there better alternatives at better prices? Is it value for money for what it does?

So is it better than the existing tech available or is the price lower and tech being the same? In other words, is it worth buying such a projector?

Casio xj-v1, watched demo at Chandigarh and image is so bright and clear at 80" screen this projector have aspect ratio of 4:3 and HD content/movies may not look good on this.
