Confused between Toshiba and Sharp

Hi...I have just bought my Toshiba P2305 32" tv...I'm unable to play movies from my mobile Samsung note 2 and nokia E71 through an USB connection...on connecting my mobile to the tv it charges my mobile but media player setup options are unavailable...can anyone help me regarding the procedure to use the media player...
