Connecting Samsung TV to HP Laptop

Hi,

I was using Samsung UN32EH5000F TV which has only HDMI and AV output, I want to connect my Laptop HP ProBook 6470b to my TV.

In my Laptop I dont have HDMI port, all it has is only VGA Port.

I want to connect my laptop(VGA) to TV( HDMI) to enjoy full HD display.

Please suggestion the connection procedure or do i need to use any converter for it.

Hi Suresh,

You need VGA to HDMI converter.. Google it.

Most business laptops come with a displayport along with a vga port. I see the 6470b has one too (I was using it prior to the elitebook that I have now). You can use a displayport to hdmi adapter which can then be used to connect to the tv using a normal hdmi cable.
